

Jeffrey P. Travis is a business attorney focused on representing clients in real estate, mergers and acquisitions, general business and tax matters. He is Of Counsel to Zimmer & Melton, LLP.
Mr. Travis maintains a diverse practice advising clients on issues involving entity selection and formation, equity transactions, real property development and leasing, secured financing, and tax controversies at the state and federal levels. Mr. Travis is also called upon to handle pre-litigation business disputes and regularly advises on some of the firm's complex litigation matters.
In addition to his law degree, Mr. Travis holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Houston and an LL.M in Taxation from the University of Alabama, both of which provide him with a unique approach to aligning his practice with his clients' business strategies.
